About Patrick Karow and K2 Electrical Solutions

In 2001, Patrick started out as a commercial electrician apprentice. After a couple of years gaining experience and doing his fair share of manual labor, Patrick moved to a company that handled residential and commercial electrical, as well as automatic generators. He attended classes on Generac and Kohler power systems and, following Hurricane Isabel in 2003, installed hundreds of generators for both residential and commercial clients. During this time, he also gained additional experience handling service calls, wiring new homes, and assisting with home remodels. 

After a few years, Patrick returned to the commercial sector, handling commercial electrical jobs from the dirt to the final inspection and supervising a team of 10-20 team members. Here, he handled anything and everything from demolition of old buildings to new construction. 

Interested in ultimately establishing his own business and knowing he wanted to offer all types of electrical services, Patrick then pursued opportunities in the industrial sector. He worked on sewage and water treatment plants and sewage pump stations, tackling projects that involved large KW liquid cooled generators, transfer switches, programmable logic controllers, duct banks, telemetry systems with antennas and fiber optic cables, and many other types of sensors and controls involved in running these types of industrial facilities.  

After gaining decades of experience providing residential, commercial, and industrial electrical services, Patrick worked through the process to obtain his status as a Master Electrician and obtained his Class C Contractors license. Soon after, he upgraded his contractors license to Class A, passing a 3-part state examination. 

Now, as a small business owner, Patrick takes pride in providing top notch service to all of the customers he serves and enjoys developing relationships with his clients as he continues to grow K2 Electrical Solutions.
